TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Năm 1968, một bức ảnh mờ đăng trên báo La Nación ghi lại thi thể nhà báo Argentina Ignacio Ezcurra trên đường phố Sài Gòn. Hơn nửa thế kỷ sau, một cuộc điều tra tại Argentina, Việt Nam và Hoa Kỳ lần theo những tư liệu lưu trữ, tài liệu chưa công bố và lời kể nhân chứng để làm sáng tỏ những ngày cuối đời của ông. Việc tìm ra người nhiếp ảnh gia Nhật Bản đã chụp bức ảnh cùng các hình ảnh mới được phát hiện giúp xác định địa điểm Ezcurra thiệt mạng và xem xét lại những gì lâu nay được coi là sự thật về cái chết của ông. In 1968, a blurred photograph published in La Nación showed the body of Argentine journalist Ignacio Ezcurra on a street in Saigon. More than half a century later, an investigation across Argentina, Vietnam and the United States revisits his final days through archives, unpublished documents and firsthand accounts. The discovery of the Japanese photographer who took the picture, together with previously unseen images, helps pinpoint where Ezcurra was killed and re-examine the accepted account of his death. The film raises broader questions about how history is constructed and narrated.

Ricardo Preve là nhà làm phim người Argentina, sinh tại Buenos Aires. Từ năm 2001, ông thực hiện phim tài liệu và phim truyện tại châu Mỹ, châu Âu, châu Phi và châu Á. Ricardo Preve is an Argentine filmmaker born in Buenos Aires. Since 2001, he has directed documentary and fiction projects across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. He belongs to the Argentine Academy of Audiovisual Arts and Sciences and the Directors Guild of Argentina. His notable works include Chagas: A Hidden Affliction (2005), The Patagonian Bones (2015), Coming Home (2018), Sometime, Somewhere (2023) and A Price We Have to Pay (2026). His honours include the Governor Gerald L. Baliles Founder’s Award and recognition as a Distinguished Cultural Personality by the Buenos Aires Legislature.
