TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Stéphanie, một nữ cảnh sát thuộc cơ quan thanh tra nội bộ của lực lượng cảnh sát Pháp, được giao điều tra vụ một thanh niên bị thương nặng trong cuộc biểu tình hỗn loạn tại Paris. Ban đầu, cô không tìm thấy bằng chứng về hành vi sử dụng vũ lực trái pháp luật của cảnh sát. Tuy nhiên, vụ việc trở nên đặc biệt khi cô phát hiện nạn nhân đến từ chính quê hương mình. Stéphanie, a police officer working for Internal Affairs, investigates the case of a young man seriously injured during a chaotic demonstration in Paris. At first, she finds no evidence of unlawful police violence. But the case takes a personal turn when she learns that the victim comes from her hometown. As the investigation unfolds, Stéphanie must confront questions of truth, responsibility and her own perspective.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Dominik Moll là đạo diễn, biên kịch người Pháp, từng học điện ảnh tại City College of New York và IDHEC ở Paris. Ông khởi đầu sự nghiệp với vai trò dựng phim, trợ lý đạo diễn trước khi thực hiện phim dài đầu tay Intimité (1994). With a Friend like Harry (2000) tranh giải tại Cannes và đoạt bốn giải César. Phim The Night of the 12th giành bảy giải César năm 2023. Case 137 được chọn tranh giải chính thức tại Liên hoan phim Cannes 2025.
Dominik Moll is a French filmmaker and screenwriter who studied at City College of New York and IDHEC in Paris. After working as an editor and assistant director, he made his first feature, Intimité (1994). With a Friend like Harry (2000) competed at Cannes and won four César Awards. The Night of the 12th received seven Césars in 2023. His film Case 137 was selected for the Official Competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
