TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Leningrad, mùa đông năm 1941. Sau khi hồi phục từ một chấn thương nặng do vụ nổ, trung sĩ Nikolay Svetlov xuất viện và được điều động đến sở thú thành phố. Giữa cảnh tàn phá của cuộc bao vây, những nhân viên còn ở lại vẫn kiên trì cứu các loài vật khỏi chết đói, đặc biệt là La Belle, một con hà mã được yêu quý. Ban đầu, Nikolay coi nhiệm vụ mới là một sự nhầm lẫn và mong trở lại tiền tuyến. Dần dần, anh nhận ra ý nghĩa của lòng trắc ẩn và sự hy sinh thầm lặng, khi cùng các nhân viên sở thú giữ gìn tính người và mang đến niềm hy vọng cho người dân Leningrad.
Leningrad, winter 1941. Recovering from a severe blast injury, Sergeant Nikolay Svetlov is discharged from the hospital and reassigned to the city zoo. Amid the devastation, the remaining staff quietly struggle to save the animals from starvation, especially La Belle, a beloved hippopotamus. At first, Nikolay sees his new assignment as a bureaucratic mistake and longs to return to the front lines. Over time, he comes to understand the true significance of the mission: through compassion and selfless devotion, he and the keepers preserve their humanity and offer hope to the besieged people of Leningrad.

Anton Andreevich Bogdanov sinh ngày 23/11/1984 tại Kirovsk, tỉnh Murmansk, Nga. Ông tốt nghiệp Viện Nghệ thuật và Văn hóa Quốc gia Perm, chuyên ngành đạo diễn các sự kiện quy mô lớn, và học sản xuất điện ảnh, truyền hình tại Học viện Điện ảnh New York. Trong thời gian học, ông tham gia đội hài KVN “Stepler”; năm 2010, ông được mời tham gia loạt phim truyền hình “Real Guys”. Ông còn là đại sứ chương trình “Dream Skis” tại vùng Perm, hỗ trợ phục hồi chức năng cho trẻ em khuyết tật.
Anton Andreevich Bogdanov was born on November 23, 1984, in Kirovsk, Murmansk Region, Russia. He graduated from the Perm State Institute of Arts and Culture, specializing in directing large-scale events, and studied film and television production at the New York Film Academy. As a student, he performed with the KVN comedy team “Stepler.” In 2010, he joined the television series “Real Guys.” He is also an ambassador for the “Dream Skis” rehabilitation program for children with disabilities in the Perm Region.
