TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Bộ phim gồm ba câu chuyện liên kết, theo chân Takaki Tōno từ tuổi thiếu niên đến khi trưởng thành. Takaki và Akari nảy sinh tình cảm từ thuở nhỏ nhưng phải xa nhau khi gia đình chuyển nơi ở. Dù cố gắng duy trì liên lạc qua những lá thư, khoảng cách và thời gian dần khiến họ xa cách. Ở trường trung học, Kanae đem lòng yêu Takaki nhưng anh vẫn hướng về những ký ức cũ. Told in three interconnected episodes, the film follows Takaki Tōno from adolescence into adulthood. He and Akari develop feelings for each other as children, but their families move apart. Although they exchange letters, distance and time slowly separate them. Later, Kanae develops feelings for Takaki, who remains attached to memories of Akari. Through moments of reunion and separation, the film explores first love, longing, and the gradual changes in human relationships.

Makoto Shinkai (sinh năm 1973) là đạo diễn, biên kịch và nhà làm phim hoạt hình Nhật Bản. Makoto Shinkai (born 1973) is a Japanese animation director, screenwriter and filmmaker. He gained recognition with the short film Voices of a Distant Star (2002), followed by The Place Promised in Our Early Days (2004) and 5 Centimeters per Second (2007). His later works include The Garden of Words (2013), Your Name. (2016), Weathering with You (2019) and Suzume (2022). His films are noted for lyrical imagery and themes of love, memory and distance between people.
