TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Một người làm vườn tại khu nghỉ dưỡng trên đảo La Palma quyết định lên đỉnh núi lửa để trồng một khu vườn giữa những tàn tích. Trong khi đó, một cô gái trẻ đang nghỉ tại cùng khách sạn cảm thấy buồn chán, suy ngẫm về chốn không tưởng và đi tìm hạnh phúc.
A gardener working at a resort on the island of La Palma decides to climb to the top of the volcano to plant a garden among the ruins. Meanwhile, a young girl vacationing at the same hotel is bored, reflects on utopia and searches for happiness.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Francesco Mastroleo là nhà làm phim người Ý. Ông chuyển đến Milan năm 2017 để học điện ảnh và thực hiện phim ngắn đầu tay Le Cento Pietre. Năm 2022, ông đạo diễn Paramore, được giới thiệu tại Lovers Film Festival ở Turin và Odense Film Festival. Ông tiếp tục thực hiện Kalimera và hợp tác với Werner Herzog trong phim ngắn Felicidad (2025), tác phẩm được tuyển chọn và nhận ghi nhận tại nhiều liên hoan phim quốc tế. Ngoài điện ảnh, ông còn đạo diễn các dự án quảng cáo, thời trang và thiết kế.
Francesco Mastroleo is an Italian filmmaker who moved to Milan in 2017 to study cinema and directed his first short, Le Cento Pietre. His 2022 short Paramore screened at the Lovers Film Festival in Turin and the Odense Film Festival. He went on to make Kalimera and worked with Werner Herzog on Felicidad (2025), which screened and received recognition at international film festivals. Alongside his filmmaking, he directs projects in advertising, fashion and design.
