TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
David đưa hai con Klára và Teo đến nghỉ hè bên bờ biển Adriatic, hy vọng hàn gắn gia đình vừa rạn nứt. Tại đây, Klára, cô con gái tuổi thiếu niên đang gặp chứng rối loạn ăn uống, đem lòng yêu chàng trai địa phương Denis. Khi Denis bị cáo buộc giết người, bệnh tình của Klára trở nên nghiêm trọng và cô phải nhập viện. Mong muốn cứu con là điều duy nhất còn gắn kết cha mẹ cô, đẩy họ đến những lựa chọn quyết liệt.
Hoping to reunite his fractured family, David takes his children Klára and Teo on holiday to the Adriatic. There, teenage Klára, who struggles with an eating disorder, falls in love with a local boy, Denis. When Denis is accused of murder, Klára’s condition worsens and she is hospitalised. The desire to save their daughter is the only thing that still unites her parents, forcing them to make drastic choices.

Olmo Omerzu là đạo diễn, biên kịch người Slovenia, nổi tiếng với những bộ phim khai thác tâm lý con người và quan hệ gia đình. Các tác phẩm tiêu biểu của ông gồm Pretty Young Night (2012), Family Film (2015), Winter Flies (2018) và Bird Atlas (2021). Với Winter Flies, ông đoạt giải Đạo diễn xuất sắc tại Liên hoan phim Karlovy Vary. Phim Ungrateful Beings (2025) được giới thiệu tại Liên hoan phim quốc tế San Sebastián. Ông cũng tham gia giảng dạy trong các chương trình của MIDPOINT Institute.
Olmo Omerzu is a Slovenian director and screenwriter whose films explore human nature and family relationships. His notable works include Pretty Young Night (2012), Family Film (2015), Winter Flies (2018) and Bird Atlas (2021). Winter Flies earned him the Best Director award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Ungrateful Beings (2025) premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Omerzu also teaches in programmes organised by the MIDPOINT Institute.
