TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Patryk, một họa sĩ trẻ người Ba Lan đang chật vật bán tranh, tìm đến dự án nghệ thuật Tear Dealer, nơi những người gặp khó khăn kinh tế có thể đổi nước mắt lấy tiền. Giữa những tiếng khóc và tấm gương, anh lại không thể rơi lệ. Tại đây, Patryk gặp Maria, người sáng lập dự án và là một nhà trị liệu nghệ thuật xuất thân từ gia đình khá giả. Tình yêu nảy nở giữa hai con người khác biệt về hoàn cảnh, đưa họ đối diện những tổn thương gia đình và khoảng cách giai tầng. Bộ phim khám phá tình yêu đương đại và cách nam giới đối diện với cảm xúc của mình.
Patryk, an aspiring Polish artist struggling to sell his paintings, visits Tear Dealer, an art project where people facing poverty can exchange their tears for money. Surrounded by crying and mirrors, he finds himself unable to shed a tear. There he meets Maria, the project’s founder and an art therapist from a well-off family. As romance grows between them, their different backgrounds and family traumas shape their relationship. The film explores modern love, social and economic divides, and a new openness to emotional vulnerability among men.

Łukasz Ronduda là đạo diễn, biên kịch người Ba Lan, đồng thời là giám tuyển tại Bảo tàng Nghệ thuật Hiện đại Warsaw. Phim Performer (2015) do ông biên kịch và đạo diễn nhận giải Think: Film tại Berlinale. Heart of Love (2017) ra mắt tại Berlinale và Liên hoan phim Rotterdam. All Our Fears (2021) đoạt giải Sư tử Vàng tại Liên hoan phim Gdynia. Ông cũng đạo diễn các phim tài liệu Flight (2022) và Rave (2024); phim sau được thực hiện cùng Dawid Nickel và trình chiếu tại CPH:DOX.
Łukasz Ronduda is a Polish director, screenwriter and curator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. His film Performer (2015), which he wrote and directed, received the Think: Film Award at Berlinale. Heart of Love (2017) premiered at Berlinale and screened at Rotterdam. All Our Fears (2021) won the Golden Lions at the Gdynia Film Festival. His documentaries include Flight (2022) and Rave (2024), the latter co-directed with Dawid Nickel and presented at CPH:DOX.
