TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Ở vùng núi Sri Lanka, Sharadha, một nữ chiến binh nổi dậy, bị thương nặng sau cuộc tấn công vào căn cứ quân đội và được nhà sư trẻ Samitha cứu giúp. Deep in the mountains of Sri Lanka, Sharadha, a rebel fighter seriously wounded after an attack on an army base, is rescued by a young monk, Samitha. As she recovers in a remote temple, both are forced to question their beliefs. She seeks freedom through collective resistance; he pursues inner liberation through meditation. With civil war and wild animals threatening the sanctuary, they must confront their differences and discover whether they can coexist peacefully.

Anuruddha Jayasingha là đạo diễn Sri Lanka hiện sống tại Canada. Ông khởi nghiệp trong lĩnh vực truyền hình, từng đạo diễn nhiều tác phẩm được đánh giá cao như Abhisamaya, Wiya Sidura và Maya Ranga. Năm 2005, ông nhận giải Đạo diễn xuất sắc tại OCIC Festival và giải Kịch bản tại State Tele Awards. Phim truyện đầu tay Sankranthi (2006) được lựa chọn tham dự Liên hoan phim quốc tế Ấn Độ. Bombs and Roses (2015) giành giải Bạc về biên kịch sáng tạo tại SIGNIS Film Awards; The Frozen Fire (2018) giành nhiều giải thưởng điện ảnh tại Sri Lanka, trong đó có Phim hay nhất và Đạo diễn xuất sắc nhất.
Anuruddha Jayasingha is a Sri Lankan filmmaker based in Canada. He began in television, directing acclaimed works including Abhisamaya, Wiya Sidura and Maya Ranga. In 2005, he received a Best Director award at the OCIC Festival and a scriptwriting award at the State Tele Awards. His debut feature Sankranthi (2006) screened at the International Film Festival of India. Bombs and Roses (2015) won a Silver Award for Creative Script Writing at the SIGNIS Film Awards. The Frozen Fire (2018) received several Sri Lankan Presidential Film Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
