TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Ba người đàn ông có liên hệ với một vụ rơi trực thăng bí ẩn xảy ra nhiều năm trước trên vùng núi cao. Trong khi hai người lần theo các sườn núi, một achar (pháp sư) ở sâu trong rừng kể lại những nghi lễ cầu mưa cổ xưa.
Three men orbit a mysterious helicopter crash that occurred years ago high in the mountains. As two men make their way up the slopes, an achar (shaman) deep within the forest recounts ancient rain rituals.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Savunthara Seng là nhà biên kịch, đạo diễn Campuchia, đồng sáng lập và tổng biên tập tạp chí điện ảnh MARG1N tại Phnom Penh. Anh làm việc tại Anti-Archive, từng tham gia Short Film Camp của Purin Film Fund và chương trình Flaherty Fellowship năm 2024. Ngoài sáng tác, anh tổ chức chiếu phim và tham gia phê bình điện ảnh. Incident on the Mountain là phim ngắn đầu tiên của anh được sản xuất cho điện ảnh, ra mắt tại Berlinale 2026.
Savunthara Seng is a Cambodian screenwriter and filmmaker, and co-founder and editor-in-chief of Phnom Penh film magazine MARG1N. He works at Anti-Archive, attended the Purin Film Fund Short Film Camp and was a Flaherty Fellow in 2024. He also curates film screenings and engages in film criticism. Incident on the Mountain, his first film produced for cinema, premiered at Berlinale in 2026.
