TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Tại một ngôi làng khai thác mỏ hẻo lánh ở Trung Quốc, nơi thường xuyên mất điện vào ban đêm, Tia, một thiếu nữ, tìm cách thể hiện bản thân qua những điệu nhảy của Michael Jackson trên TikTok. Khi Wynne, một phụ nữ từ thành phố, trở thành mẹ kế của Tia, cuộc sống của hai người bắt đầu đan xen, hình thành một mối gắn kết bất ngờ và mong manh.
In a remote mining village in China, where nightly blackouts are common, Tia, a teenage girl, expresses herself through Michael Jackson’s dance moves on TikTok. When Wynne, a woman from the city, becomes her stepmother, their lives begin to intertwine in unexpected and fragile ways.

Lam Can-zhao là đạo diễn Trung Quốc, sinh năm 1994. Anh ra mắt phim dài với The Dog khi mới 20 tuổi. Phim ngắn A Bright Sunny Day (2023) được chọn dự thi La Cinef tại Cannes; A Summer’s End Poem (2024) giành giải Phim ngắn xuất sắc nhất tại Berlinale Generation Kplus.
Lam Can-zhao is a Chinese director born in 1994. He made his feature debut with The Dog at twenty. His short A Bright Sunny Day (2023) was selected for Cannes’ La Cinef, while A Summer’s End Poem (2024) won Best Short Film in Berlinale’s Generation Kplus section.
