TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:

In the heart of a botanical garden in a medieval university town in Germany stands a majestic ginkgo tree. This silent witness has observed over a century the quiet rhythms of transformation across three human lives. In 2020, a neuroscientist from Hong Kong begins an unexpected experiment with the old tree. In 1972, a young student is profoundly changed by observing and connecting with a geranium. In 1908, the university’s first female student discovers, through photography, patterns of the universe hidden within humble plants. Across three eras, their attempts to connect reveal the quiet, enduring power of nature and the human longing to belong.

Ildikó Enyedi là đạo diễn, biên kịch người Hungary từng được đề cử Oscar. Phim đầu tay My 20th Century giành giải Camera d’Or tại Liên hoan phim Cannes. Tác phẩm On Body and Soul đoạt Gấu Vàng Berlinale năm 2017 và được đề cử Oscar; The Story of My Wife tham dự tranh giải tại Cannes năm 2021. Bà là thành viên Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học và Nghệ thuật Điện ảnh Hoa Kỳ và Viện Hàn lâm Điện ảnh châu Âu.
Ildikó Enyedi is an Oscar-nominated Hungarian filmmaker. Her debut feature, My 20th Century, won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes. On Body and Soul won the Golden Bear at the 2017 Berlinale and received an Academy Award nomination, while The Story of My Wife competed at Cannes in 2021. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the European Film Academy.
