Synopsis:
Anita Rosales had intimations of death. In her twilight years, Anita first came into prominence playing villain roles in movies, during the “First Golden Age” of Philippine cinema. As talks of an impending lockdown due to the pandemic looms, Anita goes about her daily grind as she prepares for her comeback. Throughout the day, she will do something that will compel her to face violence and death, and will leave questions on whether she is not just a villain in the movies but a villain in real life.
Director’s biography:
Adolfo B. Alix, Jr. was born in 1978, is a prolific director in Philippines. His first feature, Donsol (2006) was the Philippines’ official entry to the 2007 Academy Awards, Best Foreign Language Film category. He also works as a screenwriter for film and television.
