Criteria: – The 6th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF VI) honors outstanding cinematographic works which are rich in humanity and possess creative flair, encouraging new talents from the film industry. 3. Purpose: – The HANIFF VI promotes the cordial spirit and the sharing among filmmakers, delegates, guests, and audience responses from the cinema world with the aim of sustainable cinema development. – The HANIFF VI introduces excellent cinematographic works from international film industries. – Film festivals around the world have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, such as postponement, cancellation, downsizing, and diversified organization… but the 6th Hanoi International Film Festival will be organized in adaptive, safe, and flexible conditions for epidemic prevention and control, taking action to develop the national film industry. – Create opportunities to expand the Vietnamese film market to the world, and bring Vietnamese films into the international cinema market; – Making an important contribution to promoting the image of a beautiful and hospitable Vietnam through the image of Hanoi, capital of the City for Peace and UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.
