TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Trong văn hóa truyền thống Trung Hoa, trứng nhuộm đỏ tượng trưng cho may mắn và hạnh phúc. Vào một ngày đặc biệt, Aileen, cô bé bảy tuổi sống ở vùng quê, đạp xe lên thành phố, mang theo quả trứng đỏ làm món quà quý dành tặng người mình yêu thương nhất. Khi chiếc xe gặp trục trặc giữa đường, một người giao hàng có tính cách khác thường nhưng tốt bụng bất ngờ đồng hành và bảo vệ cô bé. Chuyến đi trở thành câu chuyện xúc động, đan xen vui buồn về hành trình trưởng thành.
In traditional Chinese culture, red eggs symbolize fortune and happiness. On a meaningful day, seven-year-old Aileen, a girl from the countryside, sets out for the city carrying a red egg as a precious gift for the person she cherishes most. When her bicycle breaks down along the way, an eccentric but kind delivery driver unexpectedly becomes her guardian. Their journey becomes a poignant, bittersweet story of growing up.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Lam Can-zhao sinh năm 1994, là nhà làm phim người Trung Quốc. Ông bắt đầu đạo diễn ở tuổi 20 với phim truyện kinh phí thấp The Dog. Phim ngắn A Bright Sunny Day (2023), do ông sản xuất, viết kịch bản và dựng phim, được tuyển chọn vào hạng mục La Cinef tại Liên hoan phim Cannes lần thứ 76. Năm 2024, A Summer’s End Poem của ông đoạt giải Phim ngắn xuất sắc tại Generation Kplus, Liên hoan phim Berlin lần thứ 74. Các tác phẩm của ông được trình chiếu tại nhiều liên hoan phim quốc tế.
Lam Can-zhao is a Chinese filmmaker born in 1994. He made his directorial debut at the age of 20 with the low-budget feature The Dog. His short film A Bright Sunny Day (2023), which he produced, wrote and edited, was selected for La Cinef at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. In 2024, his film A Summer’s End Poem won Best Short Film in the Generation Kplus competition at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival. His works have screened at numerous international film festivals.
