TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Mariano De Santis là Tổng thống nước Cộng hòa Ý, một người góa vợ theo Công giáo, có con gái Dorotea là chuyên gia luật. Mariano De Santis is the President of the Italian Republic, a widower and a Catholic. His daughter Dorotea is a legal scholar. As his term approaches its end, he must decide on two difficult petitions for presidential pardon. These moral dilemmas become intertwined with his personal life, forcing him to confront doubt and the responsibility of his office.

Paolo Sorrentino is an Italian director and screenwriter known for visually distinctive films exploring society, power and faith. His works include Il Divo (2008), The Great Beauty (2013), Youth (2015), The Hand of God (2021) and La Grazia (2025). The Great Beauty won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2014. La Grazia opened the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
