Lin Htet Aung (sinh năm 1998) là nhà làm phim tự học người Myanmar. Khởi đầu với thơ tiên phong, ông chuyển sang làm phim từ năm 2017. Các phim ngắn của ông được tuyển chọn tại Liên hoan phim New York, Viennale, Karlovy Vary và Rotterdam. Ông giành giải Đạo diễn xuất sắc tại Liên hoan phim quốc tế Singapore năm 2020, giải Kịch bản xuất sắc năm 2023 và giải Tiger Short tại Rotterdam năm 2025. Ông đang phát triển phim dài đầu tay Making A Sea.
Lin Htet Aung (born in 1998) is a self-taught filmmaker from Myanmar.
eginning with avant-garde poetry, he moved into filmmaking in 2017. His short films have screened at festivals including New York, Viennale, Karlovy Vary and Rotterdam. He won Best Director at the Singapore International Film Festival in 2020, Best Screenplay there in 2023, and the Tiger Short Award at Rotterdam in 2025. He is developing his debut feature, Making A Sea.
