After the flood, witnessing the fishes being caught by children, Mother Perch fearfully warns Kid Perch to not stray away. However, swayed by his friends’ promise of beautiful scenery ashore, Kid Perch ignores his mother’s warning and follows them. When the water recedes before the perches can enjoy their time near the shore, Kid Perch and friends must quickly escape back into the safety of the pond.
