TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Paraguay, năm 1959, dưới chế độ quân sự ngột ngạt, Narciso đầy lôi cuốn và bí ẩn trở về từ Buenos Aires, mang theo nhạc rock & roll. Paraguay, 1959. Under a suffocating military regime, the charismatic and mysterious Narciso returns from Buenos Aires with rock and roll in his veins. He becomes a radio sensation and a symbol of freedom, captivating and unsettling those around him. After his final performance, he is found dead. In a country ruled by silence, where fear suppresses the truth, one question remains: Who killed Narciso?
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Marcelo Martinessi là đạo diễn, biên kịch người Paraguay, từng học truyền thông tại Đại học Công giáo Asunción và điện ảnh tại London Film School. Các phim ngắn của ông được giới thiệu tại Berlinale và nhiều liên hoan phim quốc tế. Phim ngắn La Voz Perdida (2016) đoạt giải Phim ngắn xuất sắc hạng mục Orizzonti tại Venice. Phim truyện đầu tay Las Herederas (2018) giành hai giải Gấu Bạc và giải FIPRESCI tại Berlinale, đồng thời được phát hành tại hơn 30 quốc gia.
Marcelo Martinessi is a Paraguayan director and screenwriter who studied communication at the Catholic University of Asunción and filmmaking at the London Film School. His shorts have screened at Berlinale and other international festivals. La Voz Perdida (2016) won the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at Venice. His debut feature, Las Herederas (2018), won two Silver Bears and the FIPRESCI Prize at Berlinale and was released in more than 30 countries.
