Synopsis:
In the room with a window that is always closed, the boy Bin has to do an overwhelming amount of homework assigned by his strict father. Bin always wishes to play with his friends and to see the outside world filled with interesting things. After receiving a mediocre grade, which greatly disappoints his father, Bin is punished by having a pile of homework placed before him to complete. Gradually, the boy becomes silent and emotionless to everything. Alarmed, his father reads his son’s simple dreams and finally understands the problem. He opens the tightly closed window to let the sounds and light from outside flood into the room. Joy gradually returns to Bin’s face…
Đạo diễn/Director’s biography:
Meritorious Artist Pham Hong Son graduated from the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts and the Film Directing Department at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. He has been working at the Vietnam Animation Film Studio since 1996. Director Phạm Hồng Sơn has won many prestigious awards at the Vietnam Film Festival and the Kite Awards from the Vietnam Cinema Association in various roles as an artist, character designer, and director.
