Synopsis:

In the year 39-40 BC, our country’s Giao Chỉ region was under the rule of the Eastern Han Dynasty. They enforced strict assimilation policies, exploited and oppressed the people, forcing them into a life of misery and slavery. Sacrificing their personal feelings, the two sisters Trưng Trắc and Trưng Nhị, known as the Trưng Ladies, rose up in rebellion. They drove out the Eastern Han forces and reclaimed independence for our country.

Director’s biography:

Meritorious Artist and director Phung Van Ha, born in 1971, graduated from Hanoi University of Industrial Arts. He has been a director in Vietnam Animation Joint Stock Company since 1995 and currently holds the position of Deputy Director in charge of art.
