Synopsis:
From the lessons of “Ruling the country, making peace for the people” of the past, the film reflects on the spiritual and ideological values of our ancestors, who had established Thang Long, now Hanoi City. These values still have very strong impact on contemporary social life.
Director’s biography:
Director Tran Van Thuy was born in 1940. He is famous for works such as Hanoi in Whose Eyes, The Story of Kindness, and Betrayal. He is recognized as a leading figure in the Vietnamese documentary film industry, known for his filmmaking style that focuses on social realism.
