Synopsis:
When the fate of the nation was threatened, Hoàng Lang, a powerful, intelligent, and filial prince, skilled in battle strategies, along with his loyal companion, the White Elephant, fought valiantly and defeated the enemy forces. After Prince Hoàng Lang was deified, the elephant refused to stand from his kneeling position at the military camp. To commemorate the contributions of the Prince and the White Elephant, King Lý Thái Tông ordered the construction of the Linh Lang Temple, also known as the Kneeling Elephant Temple.
