Carlo Francisco Manatad is a Filipino director and film editor who graduated from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. His shorts have screened at major festivals including Cannes, Toronto and Locarno; Jodilerks Dela Cruz, Employee of the Month was selected for Cannes Critics’ Week. His debut feature, Whether the Weather Is Fine (2021), premiered at Locarno. His 2026 short And If Thuy Didn’t Exist was also selected for the Locarno Film Festival.
