Exhibtion: Filming location in Vietnam

Within the framework of the 5th Hanoi International Film Festival, Vietnam Film Institute has cooperated with the Cinema Department to organize the exhibition: Filming location in Vietnam. The exhibition will be held from October 27th to October 31st at the Deawoo Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam

With more than 100 photos of the featured filming locations in films by domestic and international filmmakers filmed in Vietnam and 30 photos of famous destinations in Vietnam have been introduced to public this morning at the Deawoo Hotel - Hanoi. This event has contributed to promoting the beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends to attend the Hanoi International Film Festival and bring cinema closer to the capital's public. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Ms. Ngo Phuong Lan, Director of Cinema Department, Head of Film Festival Organizing Committee said: "The festival is always interested in Vietnamese culture as well as featured filming location in cinema works. This is the spread of the beauty of Vietnam to the audience quickly and effectively. This is the second time Cinema Department has co-operated with Vietnam Film Institute to hold an exhibition on the filming location in Vietnam. Each time, I discover new features, new attractions of Vietnam. Through this exhibition, We, the Organizing Committee would like to bring more inspiration and motivation to the filmmakers to continue to compose and have more featured artwork to introduce to the audience.

Vietnam, a country of many beautiful landscapes, attracts not only domestic filmmakers but also many filmmakers in the world. Besides the Vietnam films that have impressive scenes as Floating lives, I see yellow flowers on the grass, Blood Letter ... many foreign film projects have filming location in Vietnam are also very impressive. Among them are Indochine, the Quiet Americans, Kong - Skull Island ...Mr Vu Nguyen Hung, Acting Director of Vietnam Film Institute, shared at the opening ceremony of the exhibition: "All three regions of North, Central and South Vietnam have their own uniqueness. Therefore, at this exhibition, the audience will be able to admire the majestic natural beauty of the mountains, the vast expanse of the sea, the fascinating mystery of caves, the richness of fields, terraced fields ... throughout regions of Vietnam.
