Synopsis:
The film revolves around the journey to restore photos of the young members of TeamLee, who voluntarily undertake the restoration of the portraits of fallen soldiers. Each restored image conveys deeply emotional stories of the sacrifices made by heroic soldiers, the pain, loss, and the long wait of families hoping for the return of their loved ones. It also delivers a message to the present and future generations about the Vietnamese tradition and moral value of gratitude: we must unite in healing and sharing the sorrow from the war that defended the homeland.
Director’s biography:
Director Nguyễn Quang Quyết, born in 1986, graduated with a degree in Film Directing from the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema. He has won several awards at the National Television Film Festival and the Golden Kite Awards from the Vietnam Cinema Association.
