Synopsis:

The Indian couple, Amritha and Kesav, travel to Sri Lanka to experience a mystical journey to historical monuments. During their stay, their personal electronic devices are stolen by criminals. Despite seeking assistance from the local police, the items cannot be recovered, forcing the couple to remain at their vacation house. Amritha finds comfort in the beautiful surroundings, while Kesav becomes increasingly frustrated by his inability to continue working. The difference in their attitudes creates a deep rift in their marriage.

Director’s biography:

Đạo DiễnPrasanna Vithanage, winner of over 35 international and national awards, is widely regarded as one of the most talented and influential filmmakers in South Asia. He is best known for his thought-provoking films that delve into social, political, and cultural issues. Vithanage holds the unique distinction of being the only filmmaker to win the NETPAC Best Filmmaker award five times. Beyond his achievements in cinema, he has been actively involved in human rights and peace initiatives.
