Synopsis:

Desperate for intimacy, Ali follows his girlfriend’s suggestion that puts their relationship to the test. The plan unfolds unexpectedly when gender roles become blurred.

Director’s biography:

Kawthar Younis is an Egyptian director born in 1993. She attended the Higher Institute of Cinema in Egypt. A Present From The Past (2015) was her graduation project from the Film Institute and her first feature film. Her latest film, My Girlfriend (2022), was selected at the Venice International Film Festival.
