Synopsis:
The film tells the story of Gia Phuc, who grew up in an orphanage and hates his mother because he thinks he was abandoned. When he accidentally travels back to the past, he meets and befriends his mother. During this journey, he witnesses his mother’s youth as well as her pregnancy, his birth, and her self-sacrifice so he could live. Waking up in the present, he becomes determined to change and live a life worthy of his mother’s sacrifice.
Director’s biography:
Director Nhat Trung was born in 1979, in Dong Thap province. He is the director of numerous notable movies such as “49 Days I”, “49 Days II”, “Win My Baby Back”, “Yin and Yang Eyes”, “1990”, “A Destined Encounter”… Among them “Win My Baby Back” won Silver Lotus and Best Scipt at the 21st Vietnam Film Festival in 2019.
