Synopsis:
Lanh (25), a gambling addict, continues his ways despite the high hopes of his father, Mr. Dao (60). While fleeing from debt collectors, Lanh encounters an unexpected fate – Na (25), the ghost of a young woman. Na haunts him, forcing Lanh to aid in her search for her lost daughter, promising to help him make money in return. However, Na’s presence only brings Lanh even more troubles. The situation escalates when Mr. Dao discovers that Lanh is also using drugs. The truth is revealed – Lanh has late-stage cancer, and he wants the money to ensure his father can live out the rest of his life comfortably.
Director’s biography:
Nguyen Nhat Trung, born in 1972 (stage name Nhat Trung or Trung Lun), is a Vietnamese director, actor, and host. The films he has directed include: TV series Unavoidable Enemies, Family is Number 1, Potato Star, In-Laws or Outlaws; and the feature film Getting Rich with Ghosts.
