TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Sau khi cha qua đời, Cường từ bỏ giấc mơ âm nhạc để nối nghiệp chài lưới. Nhiều năm sau, được vợ động viên, anh đứng trước lựa chọn: lên thành phố theo đuổi đam mê còn dang dở hay ở lại bám biển để chăm lo cho gia đình.
After his father’s death, Cuong gives up his musical dream to become a fisherman. Years later, encouraged by his wife, he must choose between pursuing his unfinished dream in the city and staying by the sea to provide for his family.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Nguyễn Phạm Thành Đạt là đạo diễn quê Mộc Châu, tốt nghiệp Trường Đại học Sân khấu – Điện ảnh Hà Nội. Phim Khu rừng của Páo giành giải Phim ngắn xuất sắc tại HANIFF 2022; Đàn cá gỗ đoạt Cánh diều Vàng cho phim ngắn năm 2024 và được trình chiếu tại Festival du nouveau cinéma (Canada). Năm 2025, dự án phim dài Bò sữa bay giành giải Best Genre Project tại Liên hoan phim châu Á Đà Nẵng và được chọn tham dự Asian Project Market ở Busan.
Nguyen Pham Thanh Dat is a filmmaker from Moc Chau and a graduate of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. His short film Páo’s Forest won Best Short Film at HANIFF 2022. Wooden Fish received a Golden Kite Award for short film in 2024 and screened at Festival du nouveau cinéma in Canada. In 2025, his feature project Flying Cows won Best Genre Project at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival and was selected for the Asian Project Market in Busan.
