Summer in Closed eyes - the only Vietnamese film to compete at the Hanoi International Film Festival 2018

40 short films and 12 length films of different countries and territories will compete at the Hanoi International Film Festival 2018. The only feature length film that will represent Vietnam at the Hanoi International Film Festival 2018 is "Summer in Closed eyes ".

Summer in Closed eyes is the first film directed by Director Cao Thuy Nhi which will compete in the length film category of the Festival. The film was introduced in Japan before the official release in Vietnam in May 2018.
With 90% of the filming scene in Japan and a team of about 30 young people, it can be said that Cao Thuy Nhi has done a lot better than expected in a first-rate film.

The film is not dissolved in the direction of "hybrid" foreign films that many Vietnamese films have. With the specific shooting scenes, the smooth transition and natural sense of characters and context of the story. "Summer in Closed eyes " is considered a memorable mark of  Vietnamese cinema in 2018.

“Cinema - Integration and sustainable development” is the slogan of the 5th Hanoi International Film Festival which will be held from October 27th  to 31st 2018 in Hanoi. It is expected to welcome 1,200 delegates and guests, including nearly 200 international guests.
