Closing ceremony of HANIFF 2018 Campus and Project Market: Great win for Philippine cinema

In the evening of October 30th, the closing ceremony of the HANIFF Campus and the Film Project Market was held within the framework of the Hanoi International Film Festival 2018.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan - Director of Cinema Department – General Director of the Film Festival, Ms Ly Phuong Dung - Deputy Director of the Cinema Department - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Film Festival, Ms Ha Thuc Van - Managing Director of Redbridge Company, Ms Ngo Thi Bich Hanh – Deputy General Director of BHD Vietnam, Producer - Director - Screenwriter Homayoun Asadian,  Producer - Director - Screenwriter Rouhollah Hejazi, People's Artist - Director Pham Nhue Giang, Director Nguyen Hoang Diep, Mr. Kim Young Woo - representative of the Jury of the Project Market ... together with 30 students of the Campus and representatives of 5 projects participating in the Project Market.

In the Campus category, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 excellent students for 2 classes (cast, director & producer). Best Student Director & Producer class was given to Crisanto Calvento (Philippines) worth $ 200. Crisanto Calvento expresses his excitement when receive this award because he has just spent two years in cinema and film industry. Before that he did things relevant to television, so this is a great motivation for him.

Next came the excellent award for the class of cast belonged to Vu Kim Anh and Cong Duong. When holding the award for excellent student of the cast class, Vu Kim Anh choked happily, she expressed the honor to receive this award, "Kim Anh wants to express my gratitude to the Organizing Committee of  Haniff 2018 for organizing an interesting and meaningful project so that young actress like me can have the opportunity to learn, connect and cultivate experience from famous experts, directors, producers in the world. This is a great experience for young actress like Kim Anh. "The award for cast class is $ 200 per 2 students.

In addition, Mr. Ahn Hee Kyoon - VK Frontier Sponsor's representative and Marine Techno also presented gifts to the Camp participants. In parallel with this, the Organizing Committee also announced two awards of the Project Market. The best project worths VND 50 million was awarded to the Philippine John Denver Trending film project directed by Arden Rod. The judges' award was given to Good morning, and good night! of Vietnam directed by Chung Chi Cong. Chung Chi Cong 's project will be supported by BHD and Vietnam Media Corp.

Taking place from October 27-30, the Campus and Film Project Market have brought many opportunities for young talents in the field of cinema to improve their knowledge, exchange experiences and connect with international experts, colleagues.
