The Khmer people in Van Giao commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province, weave brocade using their own silk material, which is all unique from the processing of the silk to the patterns on the fabric. A notable example is Ms. Chanh Ty, who not only excels in this craft but also teaches the younger generations to preserve and promote Khmer identity as they integrate into today’s market.<\/p>\n
