This documentary explores long-standing societal ideas around women, marriage and family that reflect traditions and expectations not only in China, but also around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Director\u2019s biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1218 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/haniff.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Dao-dien-Lam-Can-zhao.jpg\" alt=\"Dao Dien Lam Can Zhao\" width=\"199\" height=\"267\" \/>Lam Can-zhao was born in 1994 in southern China. His films focus on exploring the human condition, as well as bringing authentic and underrepresented voices to the forefront. His directorial debut was The Dog, a low-budget independent film that brought this young director into the spotlight at the age of 20.
