Guests:<\/strong> 500 delegates, including world-famous cinematographers, artists, and actors; 140 foreign guests; and 30 People's Artists of Vietnam Cinema.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>4. Purpose:<\/strong><\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">- The 1st Vietnam International Film Festival-Hanoi, 2010 was one of the many activities aimed at celebrating the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">- The festival aimed to celebrate Asian cinema, promote cultural exchanges and foster further development cooperation between regional and international filmmakers through the showcase of the latest films by talented directors, especially those from Southeast Asian countries.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">- The festival also aimed to build a new film festival brand and affirm the position and integration trend of Vietnamese cinema in international cinematography and attract the attention of world filmmakers to Vietnamese cinema, within the strongly renewing and developing country of Vietnam.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>5. Date:<\/strong> November 25-29, 2012.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>2. Location:<\/strong> The Capital of Hanoi, Viet Nam.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>3. Guests:<\/strong> More than 1000 delegates and guests, including film activists, artists, and national and international actors, attended the event.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>4. Purpose:<\/strong><\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">- With the slogan \"Asia-Pacific cinema unites and develops\", the Hanoi International Film Festival created momentum for the integration of Vietnamese cinema through regional cohesion to expand to the world stage.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">- The film festival is strongly committed to promoting Vietnamese cinema to international friends; encouraging new talents in cinema in Vietnam, other countries, and regions; and encouraging exchange and learning among cinema around the world.<\/span>\r\n<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>5.
